MailStore Gateway as Server: Many email servers offer the possibility of creating copies of sent and received messages in order to have an archive. On local mail servers, these copies can be sent directly to local mailboxes, but most email services, such as Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, don’t offer this functionality, either due to technical limitations or licensing issues. Free email server and proxy service for MailStore Server and MailStore Service Provider Edition (SPE) email archiving solutions. MailStore Gateway offers SMTP and POP3 proxy functionality. This tool provides basic mail server functions for receiving and archiving messages from Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and other mail servers that send emails to external archive solutions via SMTP. With MailStore Gateway, you can configure and manage mailboxes, as destinations for journal and archive rules, simply and efficiently.
MailStore Gateway performance features
MailStore Gateway, in addition to SMTP and POP3 proxy functions, has a basic mail server that makes it possible to store emails from cloud services such as Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, or from other mail servers. As a result, third-party external mailboxes, which used to be indispensable, are no longer necessary.
Proxy functionality
MailStore Gateway can function as an SMTP and POP3 proxy, which makes it possible to create copies of all outgoing and incoming e-mail messages between clients and e-mail servers.

Increased security and support for Microsoft Server 2025 and Microsoft Outlook 2024
The update for MailStore Server, MailStore Service Provider Edition (SPE) and MailStore Home has arrived with important new features:
– Support for Microsoft Server 2025 and Microsoft Outlook 2024
V25.1 now supports the new Microsoft Server 2025 and Microsoft Outlook 2024.
Access is also very easy via the MailStore application. Users of older versions of Outlook that do not support the application can continue to use the MailStore add-in.
– Note:
V25.1 is now available for MailStore Server,
MailStore SPE and MailStore Home. However, the outdated C++ runtime libraries have been removed by security reasons. This makes it absolutely MailStore databases must be upgraded to Firebird 4 before V25.1 can be used. V25.1 can be used.
